Taken when coming down from the Rittisberg after a walk with the family. I decided to hang about from some evening shots. I was hoping to get some nice red light on the Dachstein, so waiting for the light to change while constantly watching the rock face for about 45 mins. Wondering if it was about to happen without a care what was going on in the other direction down the valley. Just like life if you wont look around once and while to see what you have you might miss it. A quick glance over to right and I realise immediately. Turn the tripod around, recomposed hoping not to miss the transition and lost these amazing evening colors.
