Winter Stems

In summer the beach trees' leaves shine after the rain, in Autumn they glow while in mid winter they glisten.

Taken on my way home after a photographing, I notice the light had illuminated these cluster of trees on the side of the narrow road. I pulled off and plunged into the deep snow up to waist level. The metal of the tripod was frozen, the temperature was -12 degrees as the sun was nearly set.
