Friday 10th
- 4.00 pm - 6.00 pm meet up, Hand on camera basics in the field.
Saturaday 11th
- 7.30 am Early start to get the light on location
- 9.00 am Back for Breakfast
- 10.00 am - 12.00pm Review the images
- 6.00 pm - 8.00 pm Capture the Landscape
Sunday 12th
- 7.30 am Early start to get the light on location

- 10.00 am - 12.00pm Photoshop, Printing and B&W Techniques
Most people have invested in high performance Digital SLR camera only to find themselves stuck in automatic mode. I hope as your guide to bring you into the great beyond, into the stunning scenery of the Austrian Alps to capture wonderful landscapes and nature in all its glory. You'll just need a desire to learn, a good pair of walking boots, a solid tripod and of course a DSLR camera too.
From May until October, a visit one of Austria's beauiful gorges here you learn to capture its beauty with a camera and tripod.
Workshops for complete beginners to novices of all levels. Each workshop is very much hands on - learning while doing.

Landscape Photography
Open to all, beginners, improvers and novices
- Getting familiar with your camera
- Understanding and learning exposure
- Using depth of field and shutter speed
- Controlling Highlights and Shadows
- Getting to grips with RAW to achieve the most from your images.
- The strongest way of seeing - Composition
- Using filters such as neutral density and polarising filters.
- Getting the best possible quality and sharpest images.
- Learning when and what to photograph.

Location
Through out the seasons there always opportunities especially in winter too. Ramsau am Dachstein and Ennstal are ideal locations for landscape and nature photography whatever the is season. There are so many places close by with 5 to 10 mins drive to visit, so you wont be without a subject to capture. However the weather and time of year pretty much will dictates what areas of photography are best to photograph but you'll certainly, not be disappointed.
What will I need for the course ?
Some walking is involved in the workshop so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
- Digital SLR Camera
- A solid reliable tripod, recommended a cable release for your camera.
- Walking Boots and outdoor gear.

Individual Course
A two day private course, this can be booked at your convenience on demand.
Rate 450 euros per person for either course

Group Courses
Holiday course for between 4 to 6 people for 2 days.
Rate 290 euros per person for either one of the courses.

Accommodation
Food and board is not included in the Workshop, but I do recommended staying with Alm Frieden, Kielhuberhof, Pension Hoffelner andat which are close by.

How to Arrive
Ramsau am Dachstein is 90km from Salzburg, about 45 mins drive.
Motorway A 10 Tauernautobahn: leave the motorway at the exit 'Graz' into the direction of Graz, follow the main road 'B 320 Ennstalbundesstraße' until Schladming where you take the exit for Ramsau
A 9 Phyrnautobahn: leave the motorway at the exit 'Liezen' into the direction of Salzburg, follow the 'B 320 Ennstalbundesstraße' until Schladming, where you take the exit for Ramsau
